Context
Java and Sumatra local inventions imitating Chinese Cash Coins. Obverse imitating Xiangfu Yuanbao from Northern Song Dynasty, reverse imitating Boo-yūn mintmarks during Qing Dynasty. However, David Hartill, on P.172 of A Guide to Cash Coins (2017) listed Boo-Yuwan instead. The coin was most likely minted after 1724, when the Boo-yūn mintmark first appeared.
