Context
Dinars struck in Neyshabur (Nishabur) were made of fine gold, though other mints struck dinars of highly debased gold (Album 1687). Weight is highly variable. Album says this means the coins were used by weight, not by number. This type was dated, but many extant examples have the date off flan.
