Obverse: RUSHBROOKE'S ESTABLISHMENT FAMILY TEA AND GROCERY Reverse: LET WILLENHALL FLOURISH 1844
Context
This farthing token, from Rushbrooke's Family, Tea and Grocery Establishment in Willenhall, was issued to pay Josua Rushbrookes employees and was demonetised in 1862. The Rushbrooke Farthing then became a pub, however now it stands empty on St Ann's Road with just a plaque describing its history.
